EMILY McENROE
costume

NURSE
This costume was made as part of a brief from the National Trust Living History Collaboration for The Workhouse in Southwell, Nottingham. This costume is of an 1840's nurse that would have visited the workhouse. As there weren't really nurses around in that time this would've been a lower class lady with no uniform so she would wear her normal clothes with an apron over the top with detachable cuffs and collar to keep clean.
